AT A GLANCE
The tasting should help explain the collection. Check the host, format, timing, and recording access before buying.
Make the guidance part of the product
A box tells you which wines arrived. A useful tasting explains why they belong together and gives you ways to explore their differences. That can turn a delivery into an experience you return to, especially if you enjoy hearing how someone approaches a selection. Society Selections is being developed with an online tasting and recording alongside its four-bottle quarterly collection.
Choose a format you will actually use
An online tasting can work at a shared dining table or as a quieter personal exploration. A live session offers a shared time; a recording gives you more control over pace. Neither automatically guarantees personal coaching or unlimited questions. Before enrolling, review the actual host, session length, participation format, recording availability, and any access restrictions. These details are still being prepared for the founding collection.
Keep the evening manageable
You do not need to open four full bottles for a single session. Follow the confirmed tasting instructions and decide how much you want to explore at once. Set out water, modest tasting pours, and something to make notes on. If a recording is available, revisiting the remaining wines later can be part of the value. The collection should fit your life rather than create a schedule you feel obliged to follow.
Society Selections: the planned collection
Society Selections is being developed at $295 per quarter for four wines, a guided online tasting with a recording, tasting notes, producer stories, and food pairings. It is separate from the $495 quarterly NYC event membership. Final wines, host, licensed seller, shipping charges, taxes, and enrollment terms will be confirmed before orders open. Joining the interest list is free, takes no payment, and does not reserve a collection.
