A recording is helpful if you want to pause, return to a term, or explore one bottle on a different evening. No one needs to open every wine or finish every tasting pour to participate.
Check the fit before the price
The planned $295 collection is a premium purchase. If your immediate goal is simply trying an unfamiliar grape, a single bottle from a helpful local retailer may meet that need. A subscription becomes more relevant when you want recurring selection and context together. Before enrolling, ask whether the actual wines match your interests and whether the format leaves room for the questions you would like to ask.
Society Selections: the planned collection
Society Selections is being developed at $295 per quarter for four wines, a guided online tasting with a recording, tasting notes, producer stories, and food pairings. It is separate from the $495 quarterly NYC event membership. Final wines, host, licensed seller, shipping charges, taxes, and enrollment terms will be confirmed before orders open. Joining the interest list is free, takes no payment, and does not reserve a collection.

Do I need wine knowledge?
No. Curiosity is enough to express interest. The final tasting format and host will be announced before enrollment.
Will I earn a qualification?
No. This is a planned tasting collection, not a certification course.
