Choose a format before choosing a club

A standing reception, classroom tasting, and hosted table create different social experiences. A reception can make it easy to move but asks you to initiate conversations. A class supplies structure but may leave less time for meeting people. A shared table offers continuity, particularly when the host invites several voices into the discussion.

New York Wine Society’s intended experience centers on a shared table with guided discovery. The exact seating plan and arrival arrangements will be confirmed with the founding program. No particular demographic mix or individual introduction is guaranteed.

Tell us what would make the first evening comfortable

Mention in your invitation request that you expect to attend alone. You can also ask about arrival timing, the hosted portion, and accessibility needs before deciding to buy. Membership is $495 per quarter per person, so there is no requirement to recruit a second member.

The founding request is an expression of interest, not a reserved seat. You will be able to assess the real event details before starting a subscription.
