Meeting people can feel easier when the evening has a shared focus. A flight of wines provides a natural starting point: compare what you notice, ask a question, and hear how someone else experiences the same glass. You can contribute without having to deliver an introduction to the whole room.

The Society’s intended format combines a hosted tasting with time at a shared table. Its purpose is a continuing social ritual, rather than a promise of business contacts, introductions to particular people, or a guaranteed friendship.

A circle grows through showing up

A recurring club is most useful when you enjoy the gathering itself. Familiarity develops through repeated attendance, but every evening should still make sense if you arrive knowing nobody. Ask how newcomers join the conversation, whether seating is hosted, and how much of the program is presentation versus discussion.

Quarterly gatherings create four opportunities across a year. That is a deliberately lighter cadence than weekly social plans. It may suit someone with a full calendar; it will not replace a community you want to see every few days.

Choose the pace that suits you

Society membership is $495 per quarter per person, with the founding calendar still in preparation. Request an invitation if the combination of wine, company, and a seasonal rhythm interests you. If your priority is frequent drop-in events, compare that need directly against the planned quarterly cadence before enrolling.
