AT A GLANCE

You can enjoy a serious wine experience without pretending to know more than you do.

Begin with what you already enjoy

A useful first tasting does not require a memorized map of wine regions. It starts with noticing your own preferences and listening to the context offered by the host. Saying that you prefer one glass to another gives you a place to begin; asking why can make the next glass more interesting.

The Society welcomes interest from beginners as well as experienced drinkers. Its intended format is social and hosted, without an exam or certification attached. If you want a formal qualification, an assessed wine course is a different product to compare.

Ask for an experience that supports questions

Before choosing a membership, find out whether the host explains the flight and whether there is room for questions. A list of impressive bottles is not enough to tell you how approachable the event will feel. The pace, glass comparisons, and way the host responds to uncertainty matter too.

In your introduction, mention styles you like or simply say you are starting out. You are not being asked to prove expertise. The founding team can use that context when sharing details of the eventual program.

Understand the commitment

At $495 per quarter, the Society is a premium social experience rather than a low-cost introductory lesson. The planned benefit is one tasting each quarter with wines, pairings, and a shared table. Review the confirmed offer and decide whether the experience and cadence match what you want to learn.

  • No professional wine knowledge is required to request an invitation.
  • The membership does not award a qualification.
  • No charge is made when you submit founding interest.

Questions before you join

Will I be tested?

No. The Society is a social tasting concept rather than an assessed course.

Can I ask basic questions?

Yes. Curiosity is central to the intended experience.

The Society is in its founding stage. Dates, venues, wine selections, and final event terms remain unconfirmed. Our editorial approach.
