Make room for context

An interesting bottle deserves more than a quick pour and a famous name. A considered tasting gives guests time to compare, revisit the glass, and hear the story that makes a selection relevant to the flight. That can be rewarding whether the bottle is familiar or entirely new to you.

The Society’s premium positioning is built around the full evening: hosting, pairings, setting, and company. It does not promise a particular producer, vintage, market value, allocation, or rare-wine access before a confirmed selection exists.

Ask what makes the flight coherent

A useful question is why these wines belong together. A flight might explore a region, a producer’s approach, or a contrast in styles. The answer should help you understand the event even if you do not recognize every label. A higher bottle price is not, on its own, an explanation of the experience.

If mature bottles, a particular region, or a specific producer are important to your decision, ask for the confirmed list before buying. Do not treat illustrative cellar photography as a guarantee of what will be poured.

Consider the evening as a whole

Membership is $495 per person every three months. The intended quarterly gathering includes a curated flight and pairings. The founding calendar is still in preparation; requests are free until the program is ready for a separate enrollment decision.
